Crispy Chicken Thai Style

Here’s another foodie which we tried at Banana Leaf in Ayala Center Cebu aside from the Penang Fried Rice with Salted Fish and Chicken and Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables with Salted Fish Thai Style. This is the Crispy Chicken Thai Style. Correct me if I’m wrong or I named this foodie wrongly. I just forgot, I’m not sure again with the name.

One thing which I like with Thai foods is the spicy worth-another-cup-of-rice. The food is indeed spicy, though, but still preserving such distinct taste of the food. Its spiciness never alters the yummy taste of the food.

This Crispy Chicken Thai Style made me burped louder than usual. *burrp..Excuse Me!*

Fish Fillet from Mooon Cafe

If you didn’t know yet, I don’t eat pork nor beef. And oh, I forgot, I also don’t eat crustaceans. Obviously, most of the time, I only eat fish menu and vegetables. Smiley

So here, I wanna share one of my fave foods from Mooon Cafe is their fish fillet.

Off course, we shouldn’t miss diet coolers, I forgot the exact name of this drink from Mooon Cafe. I love this one because its name implies healthy living. Pardon me, but I really forgot the name of this drink.

The Family that EATS together, stays LONGER!

One of the things that brings the whole family, WHOLE EXTENDED FAMILY rather, get together is during any family member’s birthday party. Isn’t it?

Last Dec. 19, 2010, we celebrated our grandmother and my sister, Bait, birthday together. Smiley My grandmother’s birthday is every Dec. 20. She turned 82 years old that day. While my sister’s is on Dec. 18 celebrating her 28th brithday. Since I just arrived home on the 19th, and humbly sharing, I was the one who hosted the birthday party, we made the celebration as one on the day I arrived in our province from Cebu City. Smiley

This is the picture that we love most because this shows the complete generation, thanked God, we are fortunately having in our family up until today – My mom (my grandmother eldest daughter), my grandmother, who used to be with us since I was a kid, Didong, my sister, Bait’s only son and my Sister, Bait, my second sibling and my eldest sister. Smiley

This is Dodong, by far, the youngest kiddo in our family who just turned 1 last June 8, 2010. He is the youngest and only son of my brother, the Telling you guys, we are just a simple extended family currently residing in one bountiful land in the Philippines where my dad’s farm is located. We are as simple as like satisfied already to have and to savor 3 meals a day plus 2 snacks. But please bare with us, we are FOODIE FAMILY. Isn’t it obvious? We all are BIG coz we love to eat! Penang Fried Rice with Salted Fish and Chicken

I have here another rice foodie preparation that I have tried at the Banana Leaf restaurant in Ayala Center Cebu last week. Aside from the Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables with Salted Fish Thai Style that I ordered, I suggested this Penang Fried Rice with Salted Fish and Chicken for my classmates. And, honestly, since it’s sounding new to us, we ordered this rice instead of just plain rice.

As its name implied, it’s really salty. Fried rice, as I have known, are tasting more differently than the plain rice. And usually, fried rice are already salty. But with this Penang Fried Rice with Salted Fish and Chicken of Banana Leaf Restaurant, the rice became more salty because of the salted fish mixed to it.

But overall, the rice is still yummy! Hope you can try that one guys! Happy Yummy Sunday!
