I tell you, this was the worst birthday cake from red ribbon I had.

Why?

The day after my birthday which we initially celebrated in Davao City, my mom bought a red ribbon cake at the NCCC Mall of Davao. The moment we were there, we were the third customer. The one right before us was an adult man holding his receipt at the counter. Another woman was seating at the table with her customer number. While I and mom were on the counter already, three new customers arrived. Since we were in a hurry, we only ordered that cake above and mom asked to have it written with a birthday message. After we paid, waited for more than 15 minutes, we noticed that the three customers next to us were about to leave the store. I asked the attendant, she said that they forgot what my order was. I was getting hyped already. Smiley So I opted to take a cup of coffee from them. Another two sets of customers came in and after not more than 5 minutes, they were done, but my cake and coffee weren’t served yet. That time, I haven’t able to hold my temper and burst it all on them.

How long would it take you to write Happy Birthday Gagay and prepare a coffee for me where in fact you were all more than 5 attendants there? Smiley

Take note, when I am tempered, I can’t stop blobbing in English.

I didn’t drink the COLD coffee they served that I paid. I was supposed to check what was written on the cake but they covered it already.

On the next day, when mom opened the cake at home, she noticed different name was written on it. Indeed, THE WORST BIRTHDAY CAKE FROM Red Ribbon I had!

    Gay, you should post this on Red Ribbon FB if they have one. You should even write the manager and send this photo in as well. They need to know what they are doing wrong so they can correct it. Hope your birthday was great anyways πŸ™‚

    Oh my, sounds like you had unpleasant day. they definitely have poor service. if that happened here, na mahatag gyud ug FREE ang cake hehehehe

    Very bad experience. Sorry it happened on your suppose to be grand day/birthday. I think you just need to inform Red Ribbon about it. It is our right as customer.

    agoy sulunga si Red ribbon sis, WRONG SPELLING is WRONG… Kabuing sad sila , bantug dili nako ma analyze ang name.. para man jud diay na nimo nga cake…

    Anyways, dapat libre ni nila sis kay ilahang error.. balik imung wawart tanan.

    oh my gulash! sorry Gay.. pero nakatawa ko sa Gayang. =D grabe pud ng red ribbon oi. daghan diay sila kaau customer? cguro they need more people para dili sila magka buang sa mga orders. or kulang lang dyud sa organization.

    ay grabe! ako man ma-hi-high blood nyan, at talagang babalikan ko sila. haaayy! one thing i noticed din talaga when i went to Pinas for a visit last october is that medyo kulang sa customer service ang mga restaurants sa’tin. oh well, oh gosh gulay talaga sa cake na yan. big booboo for Red Ribbon πŸ™

  17. I have never heard of Red Ribbon before. Moments like these are aggravating and customer service is everything for a business. You need your money back on that one.

    That’s terrible! I would definitely send a letter to the manager and even go to their facbook page (assuming they have one) and write up a complaint as well! You deserve better than that!
