Chinese Cabbage with Sesame Dressing

If you could still remember my last post, the Octopus Salad, an appetizer — an exotic appetizer from Radisson Blu Hotel, here’s another one which I’ve tried during that said buffet dinner which I and my classmate, Ernhez, really had a delightful and gluttonous eats.

This is a Chinese Cabbage with Sesame Dressing. It was a perfect sour-sweet crunchy cabbage I’ve ever tried. And since it was served just enough for a mouthful of an ordinary lass, believe it or not, I consumed three servings of Chinese Cabbage with Sesame Dressing. LOL!

Octopus Salad

My bad! It’s been more than two months since we dine out at Radisson Blu Hotel but I haven’t posted any food articles about the buffet dinner they offered. Actually, not only our Radisson Blu buffet dinner that I’ve missed blogging, but almost all my food adventures from the very first months of this year. Just imagine the tons of photographs I need to upload; gosh! That’s a month to finish!

Oh well, for now, let me share to you one exotic food I’ve tried at Radisson Blu Hotel buffet dinner.

Octopus Salad

As far as I could remember, haha!, this is an Octopus Salad. It has had a sour+salty taste; a typical salad taste but only that the Octopus slices were a bit rubbery. Though those pieces of slices were only an inch and half, I still had longer time to chew and finish a serving of it.

Nonetheless, that was an unforgettable treat to try.

This is, by the way, an entry for Yummy Sunday and Blog Photo Challenge.

Sbarro: Fish Marinara

This is my second entry for the Project 366 Blog Photo Challenge and my come back entry for Wednesday Whites.

Don’t think of anything else. This is just Fish Marinara from Sbarro, one of my fave dishes. Smiley But I guess, it doesn’t look like a yummylicious as it could. Hehe. I’ll still try harder. LOL! Smiley

Sinulog 2012 Effects

The recent Sinulog festival brought life to the Queen City of the South, that is Cebu. Restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels, inns, pension houses and others were all filled up with tourists and visitors all wanting to witness the grand mardi gras. My mother and I were among the thousands of visitors and spectators of the colorful parade in honor of Sto. Niño. At the malls, even the food courts were jampacked with revelers and people from all walks of life. Even the socialites who wore Grey and Osbourn’s van Dal shoes took part of the annual festivity, not minding the throng of people and crowd who filled up the chairs and tables of food houses.

It was somehow difficult to find seats for us to dine especially when the parade ended and when champions were declared. But thankfully, we, ladies still managed to dine at one of our favorite restaurants. Even though the place was full, we were still able to fill our hungry stomachs with sumptuous food.
